Summary:

Empirical Solutions Invites You to Join Our Team as a Project Manager! This is a part-time position with the view of increasing to full-time within our Engineering services team.

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of technical projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all technical requirements. The Technical Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that project goals are aligned with business objectives.

The successful applicant for this role will be required to have a strong client focus, commercial acumen and highly motivated.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Engineering projects
  • Manage customer and supplier relationships
  • Manage budget
  • Decipher and interpret technical requirements and aspects

Qualifications:

  • Project Management and Engineering training qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in technical project management
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of the Defence and National Security sector is preferred
