Chap Pak Pty Ltd t/a Rocky Ponds Produce is seeking for skilled and motivated Diesel Motor Mechanics to join their team. If you have a strong mechanical background and enjoy working on a variety of diesel-powered agricultural equipment, they would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs and maintenance on diesel-powered agricultural equipment, packing machinery, pumps, and other farm-related machinery.
- Assist with routine preventative maintenance and servicing to ensure equipment runs efficiently and downtime is minimized.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues through fault-finding efforts.
- Maintain and organize workshop tools and equipment.
- Travel to various farm locations with a company-provided vehicle to carry out repairs as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of machinery, vehicle, and equipment maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant Trade Qualifications (essential).
- Mechanically minded individuals encouraged to apply.
- Current Manual Drivers Licence (essential).
- Experience driving tractors (advantageous).
- Forklift and truck licenses (advantageous).
- Excellent work ethic and high-quality workmanship.
