THE ROLEThe Finance Officer will work with the unit's Principal Finance and Reporting Analyst and as part of a small team you will use your initiative to support the finance functions relating to our Specialist Disability Accommodation properties and to improve related processes. You will work with internal stakeholders to clarify funding arrangements and improve internal tracking and reporting of revenues. Equally this role will liaise with NDIA (National Disability Insurance Agency) to proactively raise and resolve funding and processing issues. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in broader Finance team functions including payments, budgeting, reporting and compliance.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

* Liaise with the NDIA through the online portal, emails and phone calls. Proactively identify and resolve funding and processing issues that affect NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) revenue.
* Work with internal stakeholders and improve internal tracking and reporting of revenues.
* Deliver daily administrative and business support tasks to support operations, including raising purchase orders, paying invoices, managing correspondence, updating registers, and collating information and reports etc.
