About the roleThe primary purpose of this role is to focus on the clinical quality of Critical Incident Response (Rapid Response Services), provide support nationally to consultants in line with the company’s vision and strategic plan, and undertake clinical service delivery. Responsibilities include:
• Working effectively within the wider clinical leadership team to accomplish organisational and personal goals, taking action that respects the needs and contributions of others• Overseeing and leading a team of Critical Incident clinicians• Conducting administrative tasks critically associated with managing and supporting the Critical Incident program• Conducting interviews and inductions, providing coaching and ongoing mentoring of staff• Monitoring and connecting with consultants where relevant to ensure engagement and quality assurance• Assisting with clinical escalations from individual consultants• Assisting with complaints management• A billable component in Critical Incident response and according to business requirements• Assisting with clinical projects• Supporting high performance through leadership principles of self-efficacy, accountability, care and compassion
About youYou will be a registered Psychologist, Social Worker or Counsellor and have at least three years’ experience within a supervisory role and at least five years’ experience working within the organisational wellbeing industry. Along with this you will possess the following experience and competencies:
• Proven people management experience, with the ability to provide professional guidance to others in both technical and coach/mentoring settings• At least 5 years’ experience in delivering relevant workplace counselling services including critical incident response with understanding of Psychological First Aid frameworks• Knowledge and experience in problem solving and counselling• Proven ability to supervise, coach, influence and mentor others• Experience in providing supervision, support and guidance to consultants• Ability to build exemplary internal and external stakeholder relationships• Ability to view issues and problems from the perspectives of the business and the customer• Ability to manage own time, priorities, and workload• Availability to travel as required
