The Team:
Admissions Team provides clerical support and assistance for all administrative functions related to the admission process within all areas of the Admission Centre, Royal Hobart Hospital.
The Role:
Under the limited supervision and direct of the Manager and the Team Co Ordinator - Admissions Centre and in consultation with the Nurse Unit Managers within the relevant areas the Admissions Clerk will
- Perform administrative duties in accordance with established procedures and practices.
- Use initiative to resolve issues and satisfy client and stakeholder requirements in the performance of tasks.
- Apply initiative, judgement, discretion and sensitivity in prioritising tasks to ensure that deadlines are met in an environment that is subject to specific timeframes

Details of appointment:
Permanent, part time, shift worker position, working up to 37.5 hours per fortnight, including weekends and public holidays commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary:
$73,811 to $79,779 pro rata per annum + our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
