About the role

We are looking for a Senior Manager – Finance Systems and Reporting to join the growing business on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Elders Senior Manager – Finance Systems and Reporting will play a key role in maintaining and optimising finance systems to ensure accurate and timely reporting for all stakeholders. This role combines business acumen with technology expertise to drive business solutions, providing insights through financial reporting and analysis. Leading a team of analysts, you will ensure the efficiency and accuracy of finance systems while also contributing to the development and enhancement of reporting platforms. You will work closely with various departments, supporting strategic decision-making and ensuring the finance function operates effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the finance systems, ensuring data integrity and timely reporting.
  • Lead and mentor a team to deliver high-quality financial reports, meeting business requirements and deadlines.
  • Provide financial analysis and commercial advice to support management decision-making.
  • Ensure smooth migration of data into centralised systems for enhanced reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, systems, and reporting tools.
  • Support business units with financial systems, providing user support and resolving any system-related issues.

About you

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in finance, accounting, or business analysis with a strong understanding of ERP/Accounting packages.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and driving performance within a team.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial reporting tools, including Power BI, SSRS, SSAS, and SQL Server.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to provide data-driven insights for decision-making.
  • Strong communicator, capable of collaborating across departments and providing clear guidance on technical finance matters.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a continuous improvement mindset, especially within finance systems and reporting processes.
  • Proven capabilities in the management of operations, people, and sales, along with strong negotiation skills.
