Description:

Hicks Civil and Mining require an HSE Manager in a permanent full-time capacity. The role’s main work location is Perth CBD, however regular travel to the Port Hedland office and site are required.

All candidates must possess the right to work in Australia. A pre-employment medical and police clearance are required for this role.

Reporting to the General Manager, this function’s core responsibilities consist of:

Leading the HSE team and any escalationManage full-cycle injury management and return to work processesOversee and/or perform incident investigations as requiredEnsure the validity of training and certification requirements for all projectsProvide input and specialist advice within all tenders

Education and licensing pre-requisites:

HSE Management Diploma (or alternative)Cert IV – Training and AssessmentLead Auditor Skill SetICAM Investigator Certification

Experience pre-requisites:

2+ years’ management experience5+ years’ related industry experienceAdvanced communication skillsProficient in the use of MS Office 365 Suite, including SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word and Teams.If this appeals to you, but your CV doesn’t quite meet all the requirements, we still encourage you to apply.
