Key attributes-
Extensive understanding of trauma and complex PTSD-
Understanding of Autism is preferred-
Experience working with female survivors-
Kind, caring, bubbly nature-
Be able to advocate and speak on behalf of client when they lose the capacity to-
Happy to work in a team-
Must be an animal lover – 2 dogs (one training to be an assistance dog), 2 cats and fish- Willing to work in a 24 hour a day set up
- Reading non verbal cues is essential
- Must be willing to provide a less than 6 month old police check-
NDIS worker clearance-
Licence and car insuranceNeed to-
Be prepared to do a free 15-20 minute meet and greet face to face-
Be prepared to engage in a 1 hour unpaid get to know client and their home prior to commencing work, this will be a shadow session with another worker and will allow for a smooth transition into working in clients team.-
Non smoker can be a vaper but not on shift-
Be able to tolerae stressful situations or outbursts-
Have a thick skin and doesn’t take things personally-
Be independent in situation and can problem solve and do things without being asked or limit the times things have to be explained-
Strong fighting / advocating personality Tasks-

Driving around – this helps calm
client Shifts Normal shifts will be 6:30am – 12:30pm; 12:30pm – 6:30pm, 6:30pm – 6:30am (9pm -5am inactive overnight)

Pay: $37.00 – $45.00 per hour
