Middle Ridge State School is located on the south-eastern outskirts of Toowoomba, Queensland. Founded in 1884, Middle Ridge State School has grown as a result of significant residential development within the local area. We now enjoy an enrolment exceeding 700 students from Prep to Year 6.

About the Role

As the Principal, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited, to the following:

  • Lead the school community in developing and committing to a shared vision focused on quality learning outcomes for all students.

  • Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance.
  • Engage in lifelong learning and professional development.
  • Nurture positive partnerships with students, teachers, community and stakeholders.
  • Be future-oriented and strategic.
  • Understand policies and legislation effecting the department.
  • Manage department resources to achieve goals.
