The role
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will drive sales opportunities within the APAC region via direct selling, leveraging partners and marketing efforts to achieve sales targets. You will develop relationships with prospects, understand their requirements and provide solutions for their pain points. You will work closely with a Senior Sales Development Representative to accelerate the development those new relationships.
Day to day, you will:
- Manage incoming leads and current opportunities (sales pipeline) to drive sales to meet targets.
- Hunt for sales opportunities through:
· Cold contacts
· Past lost clients, leads and opportunities
· Client stakeholders moving to new companies.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of business services and Netcraft’s value proposition to comfortably present and address prospect objections.
- Understand the market, competitors and unique differences that Netcraft has and be able to effectively communicate this prospects.
- Prepare paperwork required for sales made, managing Salesforce data to ensure all contacts are current for your accounts, next steps identified, activities completed and calls and emails are logged.
· Work with internal stakeholders to complete anything received from prospects – example questions for RFP/RFI, certified documentation required for onboarding.
· Follow up on previous lost clients, lost opportunities, and lost leads to help re-generate new opportunities.
· Be aware of current client stakeholders within your region that move to another company for a potential new opportunity to be created.
· Work with others in the Commercial Team to help uplift their product knowledge, sales skills and company processes.
To be successful, you’ll need
- Proven experience of developing successful and sustained customer relationships in similar roles
- Proven experience of managing and developing more junior sales colleagues
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively develop materials that are appropriate to the audience and evangelize key concepts and best practices
- Ability to liaise and build strong relationships with Netcraft’s customers, including enterprise customers and senior stakeholders
- Self-motivation, determination, resilience, and a positive solutions-focussed approach
- Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally and cross-geographically to deliver industry leading results for customers
- Eligibility to achieve Baseline Australian security clearance
- A background in cybercrime or internet security is ideal but not required, however strong interest in learning and developing knowledge in the cybercrime space and threats such as phishing and malware will be important.
