- Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service during peak hours.
- Manage food inventory, stock control, and minimize waste.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.
- Work closely with management to ensure memorable experience for guests.
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification).
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Chef in a fast-paced café or restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of modern Australian cuisine and seasonal menu planning.
- Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Experience in team leadership and kitchen management is highly desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver consistent results.
