Your Team
Reporting to Executive Director of Investment Sales, your new role sits within the Distribution business unit at CFS, which encompasses the strategy and execution of our Multi-Asset and Alliance Partner funds. The overall objective of the Investment Sales team is to deliver net sales and revenue growth for CFS through targeting new revenue channels, clients and commercial relationships.
This role is based in Melbourne and covers the Victorian and South Australian markets.
Your Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the sales growth of Alliance partner funds as well as the CFS suite of products. The role requires building and growing strong relationships with financial advisers, investment consultants and managed accounts providers.
You will work closely with other members of Investment Sales team and the broader Distribution sales team to achieve CFS’ business targets by:
- Leveraging your strong relationships with financial advisers, consultants and wealth businesses to achieve sales outcomes.
- Expanding opportunities with existing clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Contributing to presentations and pitching to clients as a subject matter expert on the CFS alliance partner and multi-asset funds.
- Enacting targeted campaigns and promotion of specific investment products.
- Account management of key IFA dealer group research relationships, including campaigns, pitching and presenting our strategies.
- Driving consistent external activity to meet strategic objectives and sales outcomes.
- Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets using data driven insights.
- Executing national roadshows for investment manager representatives to further promote products through various channels.
- Participating in networking events and industry conferences.
Your Capability and Experience
- Relevant experience servicing existing clients and identifying new business opportunities in the investment management industry.
- Highly self-driven, proactive, resilient and motivated to work at pace.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Clear and articulate communication – both written and verbal.
- RG146 compliant (essential).
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or postgraduate qualifications (e.g. MAppFin, CFA, CIMA) will be highly regarded.
