About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Program Coordinator to oversee various post-graduate assessment projects and to coordinate the implementation of the changes in Assessments in line with good governance, stakeholder consultation and Fellowship program curriculum.


The role’s primary focus is to oversee the transformation of the RANZCP clinical assessment program into a workplace environment and work closely with key internal and external stakeholders (Committees and Working Groups) to develop, deliver, and oversee the operationalization of the activities, changes and delivery of the assessments for the doctors undertaking medical specialist training towards professional qualifications and Fellowship in Psychiatry.


What You'll Bring

  • A solid background in medical education or assessment related sector or post-graduate education, with relevant experience or understanding of the change management principles, medical training challenges and emerging trends in the field. This will be vital for success in this role.
  • Proven ability in the program management and project coordination, where multiple projects are underway with competing timelines and priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders and being able to develop direction, identify risks and influence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with well-developed analytical and research abilities, and proven experience in developing highly complex project plans, progress reports, and proposals.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded, and/or demonstrated experience across tertiary, specialist medical colleges or university sectors, medical education, post-graduate assessment environment and/or in Competency-Based Model Education (CBME) in health or education settings.
  • Experience within a membership organisation or the not-for-profit sector would be an advantage.
  • Australian or New Zealand citizen or holds the right to work in Australia.

Some of What’s on Offer:

  • Salary range from $82,896-$103,646 inclusive of Super and Leave Loading.
  • A great hybrid working arrangement with 2 days in the office as a minimum
  • A rostered monthly paid day off for full-time staff.
  • Gender neutral 12 weeks paid parental leave for both primary and secondary carers.
