A qualification in musical theatre is not necessary however the ability to perform spontaneously in front of a crowd of tiny humans is essential!
You must have loads of compassion along with kindness and be ready to fix whatever troubles with hugs and band aids.
It is essential to have eyes in the back of your head and no fear entering public environments dressed in costume after celebrating centre events.

About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Second Early Childhood Teacher at our Southport service.
As a respected and highly valued member of our educational team, you will:
Be an integral part the team within the service and the broader GSE network
Deliver a high-quality program reflective of contemporary practice and child initiated learning
Strong focus on engaging with the community in a variety of fun experiences and excursions.
Foundation knowledge of the NQS & EYLF, the planning cycle for each child and to complete curriculum as required, to also
facilitate growth and development across all aspects of children's physical, social and cognitive development
Keep children's health, safety and wellbeing at the forefront of all you do
Host parent meetings or interviews as required - these include but are not limited to ad hoc and planned information sessions
Attend and contribute to professional development both internal, such as staff meetings/networking and external opportunities
Identifying and where appropriate facilitate family support information and programs
Be able to mentor, support and supervise colleagues and students
You will have/be:
A teacher who is (studying) or has completed your Bachelor's in early childhood education or equivalent.
Experience leading and guiding a Team.
Full First Aid and CPR certificates, inclusive of Asthma and Anaphylaxis
Current Working With Children Check
Teacher's Registration where applicable
Current Child Protection training
