PsychologySouth & Wellbeing Services is a busy and established private psychology practice and is now part of the Clarity Health Care Group. We provide private psychological therapy, counselling, assessment and nutrition support for Hobart, Kingston and the Channel communities. PsychologySouth & Wellbeing Services has expanded over the years to a team of over 20 clinicians, and we now require additional Client Relations and administration Officer to support our wonderful team.
We are seeking an experienced part-time receptionist (25-35 hours p/w). You will be responsible for front desk duties whilst providing outstanding attention to detail with a caring and friendly nature.


To enjoy this role, you must love helping people, being busy, learning new software and processes, being organised and methodical, having fantastic time management skills, and not being easily overwhelmed when multitasking.
This position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as written and word processing skills (e.g., Excel, Word, email).

This long-term role includes general reception and administrative tasks (would suit an all-rounder), including but not limited to:

Managing a busy reception and welcoming and greeting patients

Enjoying being busy with the ability to remain calm & composed

Liaising with referral sources regarding bookings and general client enquiries, both via phone and email correspondence

Managing multiple clinicians' diaries (team of 20+); scheduling appointments, and related data entry into practice software.

Processing payments, Medicare rebates and billing clients

Ensuring that the front office runs smoothly and is well-maintained
The role would suit someone with previous administration experience (1-2 years) and/or experience in the healthcare industry.

Experience in MS Office applications, Dial Pad very desirable.

Experience with Halaxy is very desirable.

Must be flexible to cover shifts for sick and annual leave.
