Description:
Our client a well-established engineering and fabricating company who provides high quality products to their clients. Currently they are looking for full time skilled and experienced Mechanical Fitters to join their dynamic team.
You will be working as part of a friendly team to highly produce products.
You must have experience assisting in the Fitting and assembling of metal parts to fabricate machinery.
* analyse, diagnose, repair, modify or install parts and equipment working to minimize downtime.
* studying drawings to determine suitable material, sequence of operations, and machine settings.
* Diagnosing, repairing, fitting and overhauling engines, plant equipment and machinery.
* Maintaining, diagnosing, repairing and fitting hydraulic components of diesel–powered attachments such as pumps and injectors.
* Dismantling, repairing and reassembling parts/components.
* Using oxy, electric, TIG and MIG welding techniques to fit, replace, assemble and repair metal parts including fabrication of parts, machinery and other equipment.
* Testing repaired parts for proper performance.
* Testing and repairing basic electrical circuits.
* Using computers and specialized tools to diagnose and repair faults.
* Inspecting equipment and machinery for faults.
* Following workplace Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) protocols.
Key requirements:
You must have at least an AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training. At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
Good organizational skills with a "can do" attitude
Experience in working in a small to medium but highly task orientated engineering work Ability to work under pressure
Physically fit
Excellent salary package + Super (Between $75,000 to $80,000.00 per annum plus
superannuation).
