Manufacturing Maintenance Fitter - Night Shift 4 on 4 off
- Full Time permanent position
- Shift - Night shift - 5PM-4:21AM
- 4 on 4 off
- Circa $125k+super
- Must be Citizen or PR
We're looking to hire a permanent Maintenance Fitter on behalf of our client, a successful, well known, building materials manufacturer. Due to the nature of the role, a background in building manufacturing maintenance is essential.
The role
As a skilled Building Materials Manufacturing Maintenance Fitter, the role will have you undertake a variety of tasks ranging from project work & insulations through to preventative maintenance, breakdowns, troubleshooting, and problem solving. You will be working on shift autonomously with an electrician.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day efficient running of Plant Equipment.
- Maintenance of plant and equipment inc; Preventative maintenance.
- Diagnostics and fault finding.
- Process improvement of plant and equipment.
- Pipework and valves.
- Process pumps.
- Screw and belt conveyors.
- Boiler and steam equipment.
- Pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Operate & Service Machinery.
- Provide technical support to the production team.
- Promote and adhere to Quality, OHS, and HACCP guidelines.
Experience:
- Trade Qualified with a minimum of 4 years maintenance experience in a similar role in Manufacturing environments.
- Experience using CMMS systems.
- Hands on with an enthusiastic attitude
- Excellent communication skills.
- Work autonomously and be a self-starter to be a part of an engaged team.
- Forklift licence is an advantage.
