The Project
McConnell Dowell and CPB Contractors, along with Design partners Mott McDonald, Arup and Aurecon have been awarded the Tram Grade Separation Projects as an Alliance, comprising of works at three main locations along the Glenelg Tram Line. The level crossings at Marion Road and Cross Road will be replaced by tram overpasses, removing the interface with road traffic and creating new public spaces beneath. This project will improve network efficiency and safety at their locations for all users.

We are looking for HSE Advisors to play a key role in creating a culture of safety excellence on one of Adelaide's most significant infrastructure projects. You will support and coordinate safety practices, systems, and procedures while ensuring compliance and promoting a safe, productive work environment. Our minimum requirements for this role are:
- Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role on road or rail infrastructure construction projects
- Drivers licence and construction industry white card
- Sound understanding of Construction Safety legislation
- Demonstrable experience of Safety Management System implementation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse communities.
- A detail-oriented professional with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and work independently.
- Ability to effectively prioritise and manage assigned workload
