About the Division

The Operations Division manages the effective delivery of QRA managed funding programs, including responsibility for overseeing the joint State and Commonwealth Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) and resilience funded projects by State and Local Government agencies and Non-Government Organisation's.


About the Role

  • Lead and develop expertly written and timely program guidelines that reflect program design intentions and are fit for purpose in QRA's program administration environment.
  • Design and deliver effective strategies for internal and external stakeholder consultation and support before, during and after program implementation including information sessions.
  • Identify and consult on achievable technology improvements including system configuration changes to support program implementation success.
  • Provide expert advice on program implementation performance, trends and risks to inform future program implementation practices.
  • Lead and develop the evolution of established procedures and processes and ensure decisions and actions are ethical, well-documented, justifiable, and transparent.
  • Represent QRA or the team at stakeholder meetings and events with relevant industry and community organisations and incorporate learnings into team and divisional planning.
  • Lead and model highly collaborative internal relationships through the sharing of knowledge, experience and reflections as part of a wider team of multi-disciplinary specialists.
  • Act as a reporting team member for Disaster Recovery Coordination Reporting Cell in QRA during activated disasters for Queensland. Review and finalise daily situational reports from data and actions as directed during an event.
  • This role currently has one to two direct reports and reports to the Manager, Initiations.
