Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Respiratory and Sleep Physician to join the Department of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine in a Fixed Term role.
About Northern Health:
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our five main campuses:
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.
About the Role:
This role requires an enthusiastic Respiratory and Sleep Physician to work in Outpatient Clinics (Interstitial Lung Disease and General Respiratory).
This position is fixed term part time (14 hours per fortnight) until April 2026 Parental Leave.
This role is responsible for the care and coordination of people with interstitial lung disease and general respiratory and sleep disorders and for providing training and supervision for Advanced Trainees in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience and in the diagnosis and management of Respiratory and Sleep disorders.
- Experience or interest in Interstitial Lung Disease.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering high quality clinical care.
- Well-developed teaching and communications skills.
