How will I help?

Working across St George & Westpac in Sydney, NSW. You must be close to Sydney Metro.

Responsible for workplace banking and member benefits program across a portfolio of partners

Tasked to prospect and pitch to new Corporate Partner opportunities

Relationship management of external partners and collaborating with internal stakeholders

Shape and develop your career in business development and strategy for growth

What’s in it for me?

You will play a vital role in achieving Westpac Group’s mission by driving business development and relationship management within Consumer and Business Banking. This involves onboarding and managing strategic corporate partnerships to add value through financial education, convenience, and banking solutions. Successful partner engagement and quality events will attract new customers via the 1st Party proprietary channel.

You'll work closely with the National Manager - Employee First and Corporate Partners, and Corporate Partner Managers nationwide to acquire new partners, execute engagement plans, and maintain strong relationships, which will help customers and expand the network.

A proactive approach to business networking to identify new partner opportunities is essential. You'll build strong relationships as a trusted partner and strengthen connections with internal stakeholders.

Additionally, you will lead the identification, assessment, and execution of acquisition/partnership opportunities, collaborate with internal stakeholders to shape business strategy, and engage directly with external corporate partners. This hands-on role also involves coaching bankers and facilitating ongoing corporate partnership engagement.

What do I need?

Proven ability to attract new business opportunities.

Strong relationship management skills.

Customer-centric banking background, particularly in Mortgage Lending.

Experience in growing and driving partnership value for 1st Party Mortgage.

Competence in tapping into new business opportunities within networks.

Capability to develop strategies and calling plans for sustainable outcomes.

Experience presenting and communicating directly with senior executive decision-makers (CEO, CFO, Head of HR/Benefits).

Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills.

Versatility in presenting to large groups both onsite and through virtual methods.

Ability to engage and influence target audiences with ease.
