South East Queensland Hauliers is a full service wharf logistics provider based in Hemmant, 5 minutes from the Port of Brisbane. Founded in the 1960's, SEQH have grown to become one of the largest import/export wharf carriers whilst still remaining a family owned and operated business.

SEQH reside on company owned sites in both Hemmant and Toowoomba. Both of which are undergoing 2025 planned infrastructure developments that have been initiated by genuine growth. It’s an exciting time to join!

About the role:

This role reports to the Logging Administration Lead and is based at the SEQH Head Office in Hemmant, QLD. The position involves general tasks like encoding, booking, and scheduling. While the tasks are straightforward with clear guidance provided, it is a fast-paced environment, so we need someone who can make quick decisions and meet tight deadlines with confidence.

The ideal candidate will have strong time management and organisation skills, and know how to prioritize tasks. You’ll also need to follow instructions and communicate effectively with the team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow and take on a variety of tasks within the logging administration team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle administrative duties: Update inbound stock, organise, and upload documents into the in-house system
  • Review documentation to ensure compliance with regulations for overseas logging shipments
  • Input export bookings and manage schedules
  • Coordinate with clients, the Log Export Packing Manager, and the team regarding current and upcoming shipments, as well as incoming stock (logs)
  • Organise the delivery of empty containers for exporting logs with operations allocators

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in timber handling and logging operations is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, strong attention to detail, and good time management is essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good Microsoft office skills.
  • Proactive mindset, team-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines effectively.
