Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager for a Tier-1 agency in property management. The role involves ensuring efficient building operations, maintaining tenant satisfaction, and managing contractors. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in facilities management, a focus on safety and compliance, and a commitment to sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Excellence:
- Achieve or exceed tenant satisfaction and KPIs
- Develop strong relationships with tenants and stakeholders
- Foster a collaborative and customer-focused culture
- Operations & Budgeting:
- Manage operating budgets and ensure cost-effective operations
- Oversee maintenance programs and capital expenditure initiatives
- Ensure building services operate without disruption
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with laws, safety, and risk management standards
- Lead safety and compliance audits
- Maintain a zero-harm work environment
- Contract & Tenant Management:
- Manage contractors to deliver quality service and performance
- Address tenant inquiries and maintain clear communication on building matters
- Administration & Reporting:
- Support budget preparation, reporting, and financial oversight
- Manage technical documentation and maintain audit compliance
- Proven experience in property or facilities management (commercial/industrial focus)
- Tertiary qualification in property, technical, or facilities management
- Experience managing contractors in a commercial environment
- Knowledge of fire safety, mechanical services, and safety regulations
- Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
