About this opportunity
Council is seeking to appoint 2(Two) Grader Operator's, as a member of the Asset and Environmental Sustainability Unit to provide plant operations in road construction, maintenance work to assist in the safe and efficient construction and maintenance with Council’s Resource and Sustainability Business Unit. The positions are based in Beaudesert and Boonah, but you may be required to work from any of Council’s offices or facilities within the Scenic Rim
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide grader operations in road construction, maintenance work and labouring duties
- Technical skills in heavy mechanical plant.
- Ability to lead and supervisor a small team.
- Carry out general labouring duties in an efficient, effective and safe manner
About you - To succeed in this role, you will require ;
- Current Queensland driver's licence
- Current heavy rigid licence
- Demonstrated skills in grader operations of GPS and UTS
- Certificate of competency relevant to heavy mechanical plant.
- Current card for General Construction Induction.
- Ability to understand and comply with WHS policies and procedures.
