The key responsibilities for the Business Support Officer include:

Project Oversight : Coordinating, monitoring, and reporting on projects while developing essential supporting documentation. -
Requirements and Analysis : Gathering requirements, conducting data analysis, and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT). -
Performance Reporting : Executing daily, fortnightly, and monthly service performance reporting activities.
These tasks are crucial to ensure smooth project execution and effective performance tracking within the department.
Requirements:
The successful candidate for the Business Support Officer position will have demonstrated experience as a project officer or coordinator, with a proven track record in preparing project documentation and reporting. They will excel in SLA and KPI reporting, using tools like MS Excel and PowerBI to transform data into meaningful insights. Strong analytic and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
Additionally, the candidate will have collaborative experience with business SMEs and IT partners, and ideally, a background in delivering projects within payroll, workers compensation, and recruitment environments. Familiarity with SAP, Spinifex, ServiceNow, and/or PowerBI is highly desirable. The candidate will also need to undergo verification of work rights, two reference checks, and a security clearance.
In essence, the ideal candidate will be a proactive, analytic, and collaborative individual with the technical skills and experience needed to drive project success within the department.
