Purpose of the role
Join us in a key risk management role, providing expert oversight and strategic insights. Support risk, compliance, and assurance processes while fostering a strong risk culture. Work across key risk areas and collaborate with senior leaders to drive meaningful impact. Key priorities
- Support daily risk management activities.
- Provide risk oversight and guidance to stakeholders.
- Assist Line 2 oversight under Youi’s Risk Operating Model.
- Support the development and refinement of risk frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Enhance the Risk Management Information System.
- Support in the delivery training to strengthen risk awareness.
- Support Line 1 Risk Teams in managing challenges.
- Conduct risk profiling and collaborate on mitigation.
- Contribute to risk reporting and key initiatives.
- Foster a strong risk-aware culture across the organisation.
About you
Experience & Knowledge:
- Relevant risk management experience, ideally in financial services.
- Relevant qualification in Business, Finance, Risk, Compliance, or Law.
- Strong understanding of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).
- Knowledge of internal control and assurance principles.
- Familiarity with Australian Financial Services regulations.
- Experience in insurance or financial services sectors.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Analytical thinker with attention to detail.
- Adaptable, proactive, and solutions-focused.
- Ability to work autonomously and drive outcomes.
Ways of working
Youi offers a hybrid model: in-office Tuesday to Thursday, remote (optional) Mondays and Fridays.
