- Preventive Health SA – Epidemiology & Research – Data Analytics and Health Translation
- Salary: $68,478 to $83,594 (Pro-Rata) – AHP1 – Part Time 0.75 FTE / Ongoing appointment
Overview:
- The Epidemiologist is accountable to the Senior Epidemiologist and the Manager of the Data Analytics and Health Translation team for the statistical analysis of population health survey data, public health data, and the use of information skills to contribute to the general health-related reference needs of staff within Preventive Health SA and other customers and collaborators as may be arranged.

Criminal History Screening Requirement
- A National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)
SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.

- A relevant degree which includes study in epidemiology, statistics, public health, or information studies
