About the Role
Journey Beyond is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Coach Driver Supervisor to join our team. This position is central to ensuring a high level of service delivery for guests during off train excursions and effectively supporting our Coach drivers throughout the seasons. As a Coach driver Supervisor, you will be responsible for the complete operation and safety of the coaches and possess a confident disposition and excellent communication skills to actively engage with our guests and team members. You will also have experience in a supervisorial role within the transport industry as well as extensive knowledge and experience in the tourism and/or transport industry.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Deliver high standard of customer service to all passengers / customers, creating a positive experience on every service
- Prepare accurate manifest(s)
- Comply with company and department safety policies & procedures
- Consistently ensure the safety of yourself, your passengers and your vehicle
- Provide interactive and engaging day tours for guests
In addition, we expect you to be able to manage your time well and conduct pre-departure safety checks.
From time to time you may also have to perform minor mechanical repairs to the coach.
All meals and accommodation are paid by the company. 5 day on, 2 day off roster.
About You
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Current HR drivers’ licence
- South Australian Driver Accreditation
- Working with Children (Employment) clearance
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate (or ability to obtain one)
- Satisfactory national criminal history check
- Demonstrated coach driving experience
- An outstanding safety focus, including basic fatigue management competency and a commitment to your own fitness for duty
- Experience delivering excellent customer service
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Ability to clean facilities to ensure customer satisfaction
- Exceptional personal presentation and ‘can do’ attitude
