About the Role
A new opportunity is available for a Production Operator to join our team in Northam. This is a full-time permanent role and is key to the Supply Chain element of the business and their purpose is to safely and accurately load our vehicles in a timely manner.
Reporting to the Logistics Coordinator your key responsibilities will include:
* Safely and timely loading/unloading vehicles with the accurate paperwork.
* Ensuring continuous monitoring of the packing operation for optimal performance, while keeping in line with company OHS and quality procedures.
* Housekeeping to meet Food Safety Standards, with regular checks and paperwork completion.
* Supporting other production areas to ensure continuous business operations.
* Contributing to a safe workplace, reporting all risks, hazards, hits and near misses while ensuring that all third-party suppliers comply with company polices.
Our ideal applicant should have a current forklift licence with previous experience working as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse environment.
Also have the following:
* Ability to work well with others and collaborate effectively, with the capacity to work without supervision and manage tasks efficiently.
* A working knowledge of computerised systems
* Great literacy and numeracy skills
* Good organisational skills and a methodical approach to work
