About the role:
Join our Kalgoorlie team and play a key role in shaping a winning rental and product strategy that positions NPE as the top choice in the industry! We're looking for a dynamic leader based in Kalgoorlie to drive operational excellence, maximize business potential, and ensure we exceed market expectations. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to build a thriving, independent business unit while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality products and services—efficiently, safely, and profitably.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, manage and sustain professional business relationships and achieve P&L expectations
• Responsible for the effective and timely deployment and recovery of all company assets within your region
• Implement the selection and mobilisation of equipment for various projects and ensure it is of the highest standard possible for designated sites
• Choose correct personnel and equipment to ensure requirements are met to carry out site works
• Adhering to delivery deadlines to achieve installation dates/deadlines
• Ensure that any contractors engaged have been approved and completed all mandatory entry requirements prior to commencing work
• Proactively liaise with our technical and operational support teams to maintain the NPE team environment and continue to strive for quality outputs
• Promote the enhancement of customer satisfaction through implementation of new strategies to achieve company goals
• Assist in the development and management of business processes and tools
• Plan, identify, define and monitor asset availability, inventory levels and standard products
• Keep abreast of industry trends, including competitor and client activities
• Continually promote company values, policies and procedures in a positive light and lead by example
• Ensure that all team members adhere to policies and procedures and uphold company values to maintain a positive, safe workplace culture
• Availability to accept emails and calls after standard reasonable hours to deal with business-critical issues determined by the employer
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
• Strong experience in a similar position
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Demonstrated knowledge of equipment and plant range, or similar transferable knowledge
• Demonstrated experience in strategic management within a sales environment
• Highly developed and recognisable communication, negotiation and influencing skills
• Proven ability to manage outcomes and expectations with senior business leaders and key stakeholders, maintaining strong professional relationships
• Proven leadership ability to develop, empower and motivate employees to obtain the required objectives
• Experience managing P&L and budgets
• Friendly, outgoing and professional demeanor
• Results driven, solutions focused and highly organised
• Strong analytical capability
• A demonstratable business acumen, with the ability to operate in a highly entrepreneurial manner
• Excellent and recognisable negotiating and communication skills
