Our NSW Government client is hiring for a highly capable Senior Communication and Stakeholder Engagement Officer to join their organisation. This role will assist in developing and delivering a full range of internal and external strategic stakeholder engagement services and programs.
Role Title: Senior Communication and Stakeholder Engagement Officer
Contract Length: ASAP start date till 10/05/2025.
Daily Pay: $650 - $750 + Super per day.
Location: Sydney CBD (2000)/WFH Hybrid
Role Requirements:
- Develop corporate communication and stakeholder engagement strategies and plans to effectively manage the information and engagement needs of the place or project.
- Establish systems, tools and protocols to track and coordinate reporting on crucial stakeholder engagement activities across all significant programs and projects.
- Provide regular reports to offer insight into key stakeholder relationships and issues.
- Provide strategic advice on the effective management of emerging communications and stakeholder issues and concerns and work on behalf of stakeholders to resolve significant problems.
- Coordinate day to day media activities and ministerial and government interface for the place/project in collaboration with the centralised media team.
- Build and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote open communications and facilitate the delivery of best practice stakeholder engagement initiatives.

- Developing highly effective collaborative relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in developing communication plans and content and leading the execution of corporate communication plans within a customer-focused environment.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. media, communications, public relations) and/or equivalent experience.
- NSW Government experience is highly valued.
