The Farm hand will assist in the efficient operation and management of the farm. Crops being produced on our farms include seedless watermelon, rockmelons, broccoli, and pumpkin.About The Role
- Operate small tractors to transport fruit.
- Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops.
- Perform general farm labouring tasks.
- Perform daily pre-start checks.
- Record basic information about crops.
- Dig and plant seeds, or transplant seedlings by hand.
- Harvest fruits and vegetables by hand.
- Load agricultural products into trucks, and drive to storage facilities.
- Evidence of work rights.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude
- Mechanically inclined, good with tools and machinery.
- Confidence using modern technology such as smartphones.
- Current Driver's License and transport.
- Team player who can work effectively with people from different backgrounds.
- Awareness and ability to adhere to WHS requirements.
- Flexibility in hours worked to achieve operational targets, including weekends and public holidays.
- Experience within the agricultural industry, a truck license, Chemical Accreditation (ChemCert) and/or a valid forklift license would be considered an advantage.

Commencement date: June 2025.
Renumeration: Starting at $29.33/hr (Horticulture Award 2020, Level 1) with opportunities for advancement
