About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at our Lake Vermont project located 19kms North of Dysart. Working a 5/2,4/3 roster and reporting to the Project Manager, in this role you would be responsible for managing the full spectrum of life cycle activities to the project. This includes activities such as coaching, performance and talent management, recruitment, industrial relations, HR analysis, systems, reporting, diversity and inclusions.
The primary functions of this role will see you:
- Provide advice, training, coaching and support to managers ensuring they are informed of their obligations when managing any HR life cycle activities and IR matters.
- Provide expertise regarding performance reviews, disciplinary procedures and disputes
- Support in the development, implementation and maintenance of effective people strategies, initiatives and driving consistency.
- Work with the site leadership team to embed the Thiess culture within the project, with a key focus on the development of our people
- Responsible for managing an onsite HR Advisor and HR Administrator
About you
To be considered for this role you are required to have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or currently studying towards will be highly regarded.
- Human resources experience in fast paced environment is highly desirable.
- Strong influencing and communication skills
- Effective problem-solving ability
- The ability to plan, organise and resource effectively to coordinate multiple priorities
- High level of time management and attention to detail
- Experience in working across several HR systems/software
