The Opportunity:

Join our team as a Diesel Fitter, taking on the role of Field Service Technician for our mining. construction and utility used equipment fleet.

You'll play a crucial part in maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency across Komatsu Service and Remarketing Departments, with tasks spanning our branches, sub-contractor yards, and customer sites.

Reporting to the Remarketing Operations Supervisor, you’ll self-manage jobs while collaborating with various teams. We’re looking for someone who can not only uphold high standards but also contribute to improving our practices, ensuring our workspaces are always in top condition.

You will also be trained and work on our Smart Construction technology suite of products.

Roster: Monday to Friday, 6am to 3pm with overtime available.

Hourly Rate: $42 - $50 per hour (depending on experience)

Role Located: Sherwood, Qld

What we are looking for:

  • Heavy diesel mechanic qualification or equivalent.
  • A current driver's licence is required.
  • Professional communication skills.
  • Positive, reliable work ethic.
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment and Earthmoving machinery.
  • Experience with Estimate systems and maintenance planning software.
  • 3-5 years of trade experience.
