About the Role

Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional looking for a dynamic role in a clinical research setting? As an Administration Officer within the Respiratory Clinical Trials Unit , you will play a key role in supporting research projects that contribute to advancements in respiratory medicine. Your responsibilities will include coordinating and maintaining projects, collecting and entering clinical data, preparing reports, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You may also assist in recruiting clinical trial volunteers, making this role both varied and rewarding. With a strong focus on organisation and documentation, you will work both independently and collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.

Your ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accuracy, and support the department of Thoracic Medicine when needed will be highly valued. About You

We are looking for a highly organised and adaptable professional with strong administrative skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to supporting clinical research.

  • Strong Administrative & Technical Skills – Proven experience in administrative roles, data management, and using Microsoft Office applications, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Excellent Communication & Teamwork – Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team while also working independently to meet deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving & Adaptability – Resourceful and proactive, with the ability to handle changing work demands, implement solutions, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Knowledge & Experience in Healthcare Settings – Familiarity with hospital structures, medical terminology, and administrative procedures in a computerised environment.
