About the Role
Are you detail-oriented, organised, and ready to contribute to the efficient management of healthcare revenue processes? As a Revenue Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of hospital billing and private practice administration. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you’ll manage tasks such as invoicing, claims generation for Medicare and health funds, cash and debtor collection, and reconciliation of accounts. You’ll also handle approved debt waivers, disbursements, and fund transfers, while supporting compliance reviews and preparing essential reports. - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues, alongside a proven track record of providing high-quality customer service.
- Excellent organisational abilities , including the capacity to prioritise workloads, maintain accuracy in data entry, and independently manage tasks using initiative and sound judgement.
- Technical expertise in using computer applications, accounting and billing systems, and financial data entry, supported by knowledge of billing, receivables, and cashiering processes.
- A commitment to professional integrity , ensuring confidentiality, credibility, and compliance in all aspects of your work.
