Your part in St Stephen’s Hospital team

Working as a Patient Administration Officer, you will be responsible for providing excellent Customer Service to Patients, Visitors, Community members, Doctors and staff. You will provide administration support as required to the Patient Administration Team Leader. Duties will include switchboard, maintaining bookings for our Lodge, car bookings, some Patient account payments, and Hospital Volunteer support. You will be the "face of St Stephens Hospital" and first point of Contact.

  • As first point of contact must show experience in excellent Customer Service in a Healthcare setting
  • Evidence of ability to constantly multi task
  • Manage switchboard
  • Ability to communicate with Patients, Clinicians, Community members effectively
  • Well developed interpersonal skills
  • Efficient time management
  • Organised with an excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Flexibility with working days and times – You must be available for afternoon shifts and Saturday’s as required.
