The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent HR graduate looking to start their career in HR and recruitment. Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, the Recruiter/People Officer is responsible for developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent across corporate, branch, manufacturing, and warehouse departments. This role involves partnering with leaders to understand staffing needs, sourcing candidates through diverse channels, managing the screening and interview process, maintaining HRIS system records, coordinating pre-employment medicals, and preparing employment contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies with leaders to meet business and team needs.
- Source and attract quality candidates through job boards, social media, and industry networks.
- Conduct screening, facilitate interviews, and assess candidate fit.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Promote ARB's employer brand, culture, and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and track recruitment metrics.
- Collaborate with other members of the People team and leaders
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, behaviours and experience:
- No prior recruitment experience required - just a passion for HR, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn!

- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills - Assess candidates, evaluate data, and resolve hiring challenges.
- Attention to Detail - Ensure accuracy in job descriptions, evaluations, and compliance.
