We are currently implementing V9 AC English, with Science of Reading and Science of Learning principles a feature of the Structured Literacy Program.
This exciting opportunity will help you further develop your instructional leadership capacity and capacity to support large teams. Leading teams of 8-10 highly professional teachers to develop a deep knowledge and understanding of the English units developed collaboratively is a key focus, along with the need to model and coach all staff where necessary on the pedagogical approach being engaged.

About The Role
Key aspects of the ISS HOD-C roles are:
- Supporting the implementation of Term 2 AC V9 English units of work.
- Contribute to the development of English units for Term 3 (& possibly 4) aligned with the Whole school English approach
- Leading Curriculum planning days with Year 3-6, to create vertical and horizontal alignment across the sector and year levels.
- Modelling and Coaching sector members to enact the whole school pedagogical practices.
- Collaborate with sector DPs to ensure the enacted curriculum is the planned, assessed and reported curriculum.
- Develop strong working partnership with HOD-C P-2, Literacy Coach, Digital Coach and HOSES.
- Contribute to the strategic direction and agenda of the school.
