Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- LF Forklift License
- General administration duties
- A High Safety Focus
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Linehaul Loading Operations
- Successfully demonstrate understanding of Mass Management
- Successfully demonstrate understanding of Load Restraint Guidelines
- Enthusiastic and energetic team player
- Comply with all OHS regulations and Chain of Responsibility requirements
- Carry out all duties within set time frames and follow instruction
- Capability to supervise a small team
Job tasks and responsibilities
• Conduct efficient and effective loading/unloading of interstate linehaul
• Verify, document, and check the accuracy of consignments, weights, and destination labels (State/Onforwarding, ect)
• Conduct efficient and effective loading/unloading of local PUD fleet
• Complete required forms; linehaul load, photograph interstate loads, and document damages via the damage report form
• Ensure organisational service standards are maintained
• Lead by example on all safety and compliance standards
• Supervise staff to ensure they complete all duties to company standard
