The Role
The Reservations Coordinator is responsible for managing reservations for both accommodation and touring. This includes responding to booking enquiries from direct guests, trade bookings, and group reservations via phone, email and social media. These booking will range for budget offerings to high-end, all-inclusive experiences.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Create bookings in a timely and accurate manner, with attention to detail.
- Handle high volumes of enquiries while delivering the highest level of customer service.
- Provide information to guests and process payments.
- Manage administrative tasks like confirming and canceling reservations.
- Arrange services for guests with special needs.
- Collaborate with the team and assist with promotions.
Skills & Experience
- Preferably familiar with NewBook or RMS
- Sales/customer service experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, professional phone manner and precise email correspondence
- Can-do attitude and initiative
- Technologically savvy, able to operate multiple programs simultaneously
- Valid driver's license

This role includes extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery
