We’re now looking for a Business Development Manager to help us expand our reach. If you have onsite mining experience and understand the challenges maintenance managers and reliability engineers face, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.

Although headquartered in Brisbane, we welcome remote candidates across Australia to apply. This role requires both domestic and international travel.

About the Role
As Business Development Manager, you will:

  • Identify and secure new business across the mining sector
  • Build strong relationships with maintenance managers, reliability engineers, and rebuilders
  • Develop sales strategies to drive revenue and margin growth
  • Prepare tenders, proposals & quotes for HME components & rebuilds
  • Engage onsite & in offices to showcase Valenhold’s value in the supply chain
  • Gather market intelligence and support expansion into new regions & services

What We’re Looking For
We need a driven sales and solutions specialist with:

  • Substantial experience in mining or heavy industry business development
  • Strong network within mining customers, rebuilders & resellers
  • Expertise in CAT & Komatsu haul truck drive train components
  • Knowledge of service exchange & rebuild programs
  • Proven success in sales growth and tendering
  • Ability to manage budgets, forecasts & financial performance
  • Strategic, customer-focused mindset with top-tier negotiation skills

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Current driver’s licence & passport (for travel)
  • Proficiency in business development tools & technology
