Description:
Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently looking for eskilled line runners to commence with a large meat processing facility in Heathwood. This role contributes largely to the overall sucess of the factory operations, ensuring smooth operation of your process line.
The facility operates 7 days a week and as such, all rosters are rotating across the 7 days. This position is on the 6am shift and you will be required to work the following rotating roster on an ongoing basis:
- WEEK 1
- Mon 6am-6pm, Tue 6am-6pm, Wed OFF, Thu OFF, Sat 6am-4pm, Sun 6am-330pm
- WEEK 2
- Mon OFF, Tue OFF, Wed 6am-6pm, Thu 6am-6pm, Fri 6am-6pm, Sat OFF, Sun OFF
Duties and responsibilities of the role will include, but will not be limited to:
- Overseeing line operations
- Operating line controls via touch pad
- Quality checks
- Line set up and pack down
- Film wrap and labelling roll changes
- Assisting along the line as required with
- Loading conveyors
- Packing
- Handling raw meat of various origin
What we are looking for:
- Availability to work a rotating roster starting at 6am
- Roster includes working every second weekend, as outlined above
- Previous experience in a similar role (within food industry - any variation)
- Comfortable working in a cold room environment (7 degrees)
- Meat processing experience desirable but not esential
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent team player and leader
