About the Home
Holly Aged Care is conveniently located close to the southern end of the Southern Expressway, with the Onkaparinga River National Park close by. Our home is situated on the bus route to Colonnades Shopping Centre less than five kilometres away and connected by other transport routes to the wider metropolitan area.
About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Hospitality Coordinator we are actively seeking experienced Hospitality Assistants to join our team on a casual basis. As part of our hospitality team, Cleaners are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our homes.
The Role
- Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and always maintained at a high standard.
- Vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors.
- Dusting, polishing and general tidying.
- Cleaning bathroom facilities.
- Attending to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables and other equipment or furniture located in the residents' room.
- Assist with the provision of a safe, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
- Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required.
To be successful, you will have
- Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
- Complete a NDIS workers check/ Police Clearance
- Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain during flu season)
- Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and all levels of staff
- Strong passion for working with the elderly and dedication to professional growth
