Searson Buck is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Spare Parts Salesperson for our client on the Northwest Coast of TasmaniaAbout the Role:
As a Spare Parts Salesperson, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of our spare parts and stores. You will be responsible for serving customers, quoting spare parts, assisting with managing stock and supporting the team to deliver exceptional service and solutions to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality customer service at the counter, over the phone, and online.
- Process sales orders, quotations, and purchase orders efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring stock availability and replenishment.
- Assist with technical problem-solving and parts interpretation for customers.
- Maintain accurate documentation and data entry into MYOB Acumatica.
- Provide support to the stores team as needed, including conducting periodic stock takes.
- Contribute to seasonal and bulk orders, general stock replenishment, and workshop tools, consumables and inventory needs.
- Handle cash and card transactions as required.
- Assist with the receipt and dispatch of goods, including freight tracking and coordination.
- Ensure the showroom and stores are well-organised and maintained.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers, delivering customised solutions.
- Experience in spare parts, inventory, or customer service roles.
- Knowledge of agricultural machinery and associated parts (or a willingness to learn).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interpret parts manuals, drawings and assist customers with technical queries.
- Competence with computer systems, including data entry and reporting tools.
- A high level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret stock data and trends.
- Commitment to safety and compliance in the workplace.
- A current manual driver’s licence and forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one).
