Take a position on a High-Profile Marine Project!Carey MC is seeking a Leading Hand to assist its current project team on an exciting new project at Fremantle Port's Inner Harbour . This bollard replacement program is a critical infrastructure project, ensuring the safety and longevity of one of Western Australia’s most important maritime hubs.
Reporting to the Supervisor you will be hands-on in overseeing and coordinating site activities ensuring the project runs smoothly, safely and on schedule . You’ll be part of a tight-knit team, enforce high safety and quality standards, solve on-site challenges and collaborate with key stakeholders to drive success.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and coordinate teams alongside the Supervisor, ensuring seamless execution of works while engaging with key stakeholders.
- Operate forklifts (2.5t and 7t) to support efficient material handling and logistics on-site.
- Rig and manage loads for the Franna crane, playing a crucial role in safe and precise lifting operations.
- Hands-on work on the wharf deck , including removing and replacing key components like bolts and steel plates to maintain structural integrity.
- Support specialised concrete repair teams , assisting with minor concrete works to ensure high-quality finishes and durability.
What You Need to Succeed
- Standard Driver’s Licence (Essential)
- High-Risk Work Licence (Forklift and Dogman)
- MSIC Card (Essential – or willingness to obtain)
- White Card (Essential)
- Experience in civil construction (Preferred)
- Knowledge of concrete and marine infrastructure (Highly Desirable)
