About the role

The purpose of this role is to be accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination of human and/or material resources, and to support effective business practices for ICS research.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses, and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) (2015) - Generic Level Statements (GLS) Nurse Grade 7 and the Queensland Health and Metro North Health's commitments and values, in achievement of the organisational goals and Domains of Practice.
  • Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
  • Provide leadership within a legal, professional, and ethical framework that ensures contemporary consumer/person centred care and staff management practices.
  • Collaborate in the application and evaluation of contemporary human, material, and financial resource management for the multidisciplinary environment.
  • Accountable for promoting effective and cost-efficient management of hospital resources and services in collaboration with the Assistant Nursing Director, ICS.
