Term full-time vacancy up to 12 months.

The Intelligence Analyst is accountable to a nominated Intelligence Supervisor/Manager/Coordinator or Senior Analyst and is responsible for identifying and reporting on existing and evolving patterns and trends relating to the responsibilities of South Australia Police. Through research, data analysis and the preparation of detailed tactical and/or strategic products, the incumbent will provide considerations for managers to enable informed decision making relating to identified issues.


Special Conditions

  • The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.
  • The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
  • Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
  • The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL’s iEngage program.


Requirements

Although not essential an appropriate tertiary qualification in intelligence, research, data and/or statistical analysis will be considered favourably.

Salary

ASO4 - $76,561 - $80,256 per annum.
