Are you self-motivated and eager to learn with 2-3yrs+ local experience?This is an opportunity to apply and grow your existing knowledge in Civil Design with a well-established firm, having developed close relationships with major players in retail, commercial and industrial.
Responsibilities:
Expertise:
- Provide technical expertise and engineering advice on various types of projects, including industrial, commercial, and retail projects.
- Develop concept and detailed engineering designs for a range of components, including hardstands, car park levels, pavements, stormwater networks, treatment systems, and roof drainage.
- Prepare design drawings, including drafting work, to communicate engineering designs effectively.
- Liaise with local authorities and Councils to obtain the necessary design approvals for the projects.
- Coordinate and communicate with various stakeholders, (consultants, builders, developers) to ensure projects are delivered on time.
Qualifications and Skills:
Background:
- Advanced AutoCAD and Civil 3D essential.
- 2-3+yrs industry exp. pref. in industrial, commercial & retail.
- Civil degree or similar (not essential).
- Understand and apply relevant Australian Standards, local Council standards, VicRoads specifications, and Ausroads guidelines to your work.
- Utilise your excellent communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues, clients, and regulatory bodies.
