Providing services from birth to early intervention and education services to children and their families/carers through to services to adults and the aged, including Home Care, Respite, Community Care, Allied Health, Support Coordination, Supported Accommodation and facility-based respite.
About the Role:
We are seeking a Physiotherapist for an aged care role with a leading not-for-profit in Melbourne's Eastern and Northern regions.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing services for the organisations' clients. You will develop and implement high-quality person-centered services aimed at supporting people to remain independent within the community. Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing high-quality person-centered physiotherapy services to aged consumers, over 65 years under CHSP and HCP-funded programs. This is either 1:1 or within the group setting
- Providing a range of therapeutic evidence-based interventions to address our consumers individual needs, concerns and goals relating to mobility, exercise, activities of daily living and functional performance
- Multidisciplinary referrals (either internally or externally with other stakeholders) as well as goal monitoring, outcome measures, and discharge planning.
This is a permanent full-time position, however a part-time opportunity may also be considered.
Benefits:
- Salary $71,000 to $91,000 (depending on experience)

About You:
- A relevant qualification in Physiotherapy and relevant registration
- Proven ability to provide best-practice Physiotherapy services to consumers and their representatives
- Knowledge of complex conditions that may impact people with disability and of the ageing process and subsequent conditions associated with ageing
- Proven experience in establishing and maintaining effective and professional relationships, building rapport and liaising with relevant stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to prepare briefings, case notes, reports and recommendations in a professional and considered manner
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide effective consultative skills that facilitate change through use of reflective and strength-based practice
- Ability to coach other transdisciplinary team members in areas of expertise
- A current Victorian drivers license
- A current Working With Children Check
